Tips To Endure A Long Flight

Long flights can be the worst. Patiently waiting, checking the clock every 15 minutes when you think an hour has gone. Its hard to not get bored and frustrated after sitting in the same place for a long time. And what’s worse, a screaming baby? Forget about it!  We have created a list of fun activities to help make a long flight less painful, just remember your destination is worth it!

Watch TV And Movies

What better opportunity to binge-watch a TV series than on a long flight.  Make sure to download any tv shows or movies you may want to watch because you most likely won’t have wifi. Even better, did you have any movies you wanted to see in theatres but never found the time? They may just be in your in-flight service!

Read

Reading is a great way to pass the time. You can bring anything from books to magazines!

Color

Adult coloring books are now a thing, and we must say, they are a-m-a-z-i-n-g. They are soothing and creative and actually very therapeutic. If you have kids, this also great for them as it keeps them occupied and off your hands!

Dress Comfortably

Do you ever see women walk in the plane in jeans and heels, and think how do they do it! I sure do. Show up to that plane ride in sweatpants and a hoodie, you’re going to be in a tight space for a while you want to be comfortable. The cozier you are, the more enjoyable the flight will be. It’s not a fashion show, dress for comfort.

Sleep

Obviously, the best way to pass the time is to sleep. But this is easier said than done. Try to bring a comfy pillow, eye mask, and definitely headphones. You don’t want to hear a screaming baby that will wake you up every 5 minutes.

Bring Food

FOOD, FOOD, FOOD! Most of us are no fan of airplane food so that means to keep yourself from getting hungry, you need to stack up on those yummy snacks. Let yourself indulge in your favorite yummies and maybe then you’ll enjoy yourself more! Nobody wants a growling tummy on a 15-hour flight.
